United States New GO-TO coating I am a certified Gtechniq installer and find Graphene Car Coating much easier to use than Gtechniq coatings. Graphene Car Coating leaves a high gloss shine. One drawback and complaint of ceramic coatings is water spotting. Graphene Car Coating solves the water spot problem. Not only is it easier to apply than Gtechniq, it is also easier to remove. I use only 2 towels to remove Graphene Car Coating, where as I use 3 towels to remove Gtechniq ceramic coatings. This reduces the time and cost to apply the coating. Additionally, Graphene Car Coating has a longer flash time than ceramic coatings which helps elminate high spots. How to use 1. Prep. 1a. Wash / decontaminate / clay 1b. Polish to remove surface defects. This will ensure a better gloss and shine. 1c. Be sure to remove all polish oils to ensure Graphene Car Coating bonds properly to the paint. 2. Apply a thin layer of product in a cross hatch pattern. A little goes a long way. 3. Work one panel as a time. For example, treat the hood as a single panel. Also apply to the entire roof as a single panel. I apply to the roof first and then move to the lower panels. 4. Remove the coating using the towel long nap first and follow with the short nap side. 5. A topper is not required but my preference is to apply a topper.
